The Uttar Pradesh government is also investing 85000 crores in the redevelopment of Ayodhya to boost the infrastructure to cope with many tourists, as the government is looking to promote the temple town as an economic and tourism hub.

Fifteen hotel project proposals were approved. "Leela and Lodha group have already joined hands for a new project of Rs 450 crore in Ayodhya. Hotel chains such as Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), Marriott International, Sarovar Hotels & Resorts, and Wyndham Hotels & Resorts have also signed hotel deals in Ayodhya. Developing hotels, guesthouses, homestays, and other accommodation facilities will further elevate the city's appeal as a tourist destination.

 


Road Network In Ayodhya

 

While the Public Roadway Authority of India (NHAI) is executing projects worth Rs 10,000 crore, the public works division of the UP government has likewise taken up 34 undertakings worth nearly Rs 7,500 crore.

The development of a four-path street interfacing Shri SmashJanmabhoomi from the Gorakhpur-Lucknow Parkway, going through Mahoba Marketplace, is approaching its finish at an exact expense of Rs 45 crore. Additionally, four new pathways have been made in Ayodhya motivated by the four Vedas (Smash Way, Dharma Way, Bhakti Way, and Janmabhoomi Way). 

Two thousand houses and shops were rebuilt to develop the Ram Path, and the inter-state Ayodhya Dham bus station was constructed to connect Ayodhya with different states of the country.

Airport

Ayodhya International Airport, or Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, was initiated by the Head of the state in December. The airport is expected to serve as a convenient entry point for travelers and was constructed on 821 acres of land at an estimated cost of Rs 1462.97 crore.

 

Ayodhya Emerged as the Global Spiritual Hub.

 

Global brokerage firm Jefferies said in a report that Ayodhya Ram Mandir will attract 50 million tourists annually, which will be approximately 2.5 times more than what we witnessed in 2023. 

After the Verdict on Ayodhya Ram mandir, Ayodhya has witnessed a drastic increase in tourists, creating a mouth-watering opportunity for retail shop investors to invest in Ayodhya. Because of the many footfalls, it will soon become a shopping hub along with residential and commercial property.
